A Sneak Peek Inside Post Malone’s Lavish Utah Home!

Recently, a 2018 clip of Post Malone resurfaced in which the Sunflower singer slammed the US government as ”the biggest lie in the world” and urged people to “move out to the country.’‘ In the clip which gathered 2 million views, the singer discussed the need to escape from the bustling cities to protect oneself from the government.

Around the same time, the now 28-year-old singer did what he said and purchased a lavish five-bedroom, seven-bathroom Utah abode for a whopping $3,093,750 under the LLC “Wow Cool House,” property records show.

Know more about Post Malone’s Utah home

The 13,000 square feet residence in Salt Lake City is situated on nearly 7 acres of land. Malone whose real name is Austin Post said in a February 2018 interview with Montreality, ”Move somewhere, because whenever martial law is declared … whenever your credit cards fail, whenever your banks fail … you have three days to get out of where you are because that’s when they’re coming for you. That’s the big move. That’s checkmate right there. And they think they have you.”

The singer then encouraged people to do something themselves and “get your scraps. Stand up for yourself. Build a tower. Build a long road where you can see them coming. Don’t give up, America.”

A blissful nature-filled oasis

When Post Malone was in contract to purchase the Utah residence, he revealed in a separate 2017 interview on the H3 podcast that he would turn the home into an apocalypse-proof shelter and build underground quarters.

Post Malone said, “I’m going to put in, like, 30 bunk beds. It’s a free country out there. Like, you can buy suppressors in Utah. You can do open-carry. Walk into the grocery store with a handgun on your hip. Cowboy s–t. I can’t wait.”

The house which is located at the mouth of Cottonwood Canyon was initially built in 1986 and possesses a canyon, mountain, and city view. The beautiful property’s features include floor-to-ceiling windows, separate guest quarters, and a private office, which backs into thousands of acres of conservation land, the previous listing notes.

The space in the snow-capped mountains is relatively safe and serene, a perfect place for someone like Malone who loves his privacy. The Billboard Award winner expressed his love for the solitude that the area offers. On a podcast with Zane Lowe, he said, “I kind of just wanted to get away to where I can have my oasis”

There is a lot of indoor greenery

Pictures from inside the rooms show that the interiors have a lot of standing plants that add a pop of color to a neutral palette and scientifically these plants have much to offer. Web MD says that having houseplants in different areas offers many psychological benefits to the owners. Some plants and flowers in bloom can make your mood fresh with their bold looks and colors. Plants like spider plants keep fresh air in the room and some even soak impurities from the air. Also, some plants assist in alleviating allergies.

A fire pit sits outside for chilly weather

Cottonwood Heights sits in the northern hemisphere of the globe which means that the climate gets cold in winter seeing a temperature of 20 degrees Fahrenheit. When your surroundings get this cold, a warm and toasty fireplace can keep you warm and improve your mood. Fire Side Hearth said that even if the fire pit remains off due to Utah’s downpour, this feature does add quality and ambiance to the singer’s homely feeling.

Malone’s den is a professional gaming room

Paradise Developments states that there is no particular definition for a den room because a homeowner can use their den for whatever activity they prefer. Due to its versatility, it can be decorated as a game room or it could be a studio, home office, study or a library.

The home tour shows that Malone’s house has a den room that features royal red furniture and wall-to-wall carpeting. We can only speculate what the singer uses the room for but many thought it could be an equipped game room because, in an interview with Variety, he said, ”Being in Utah and being away from the grind and from everybody else and it’s just me with my video games and a cold one—that feels good to me.”

Every room in the house has a great lighting

According to Rolling Stone, Post Malone owns a white Rolls Royce Wraith. In an interview in 2017, he showed off his luxurious car and all the features it has; particularly the ability for the ceiling of the car to light up courtesy of the myriads of orbs fitted into it.

The same intense lighting is reflected in Malone’s Utah home as well. The home tour video shows that in all 5 bedrooms and almost every other area of the abode, there are beautiful lights and fixtures. While some were fixed using tiny orbs similar to the lit-up rooftop of his Rolls Royce, others hung as dome lamps like the hanging bathroom fixtures and other lamps hung on the exterior of the home.

The matching wall art in every room

One thing that caught our eyes during the video tour of Malone’s home was the animal wall paintings which might have been there to match the jungle-themed living room. The house also boasts a monochromatic painting in the master bedroom with a monochromatic aesthetic. The gym also features classic art in various frames. This surely shows that this mountain house has a pattern of having different art aesthetics for each room.

Floor-to-ceiling windows for a perfect mountain view

Aluminium Trade Supply states that you can never go wrong with floor-to-ceiling windows because they allow natural light to filter your home at the highest possible level. But, this also means you might have to endure a lack of privacy because of the huge glass and how much people could view your home. Another con is the cost of executing this window style as it may be more expensive to install floor-to-ceiling glass than the glass for normal windows due to the extra care you need to consider when handling it.

But it’s not huge for Post Malone since his oasis has zero contact with neighbors. Therefore, he doesn’t need to fear the lack of privacy. With a net worth of millions, utilizing this window style may not be a troublesome task for his bank account.

The oasis has his and her sinks

The Wall Street Journal revealed that some couples live together but believe in not sharing certain things like bathrooms and living rooms. Post also has a fiancée with whom he shares a baby girl. As new parents, the couple also needs some personal time and personal retreats, which could be the reason behind their “his and hers” sinks. The separate sinks are part of the bathroom with a gorgeous marble shower and a bath.

We are not sure if the musician will be having his and hers toilets in their home. In an interview with Howard Stern, he talked about the process of writing his music. Malone said, ”I write all my songs on the can…I’d say about 30 percent of all my albums have been written on the sh***er…”

His confession sure made fans believe that his and her toilets could be a requirement in the luxury home, and his fiancée may be the one who champions this addition.

What else does Malone’s home have?

Post’s Utah home also has an island kitchen which we believe is a great choice for the expansive abode. Apart from that, he has a gym with several fitness amenities, rock decor, and a huge dining room for his small family and other guests.
